ABOUT GCP The Wharton Global Consulting Practicum (GCP) is a cross-functional, capstone course and consulting organization embedded in to Wharton. It is designed to bridge the academic and international business worlds as teams execute marketing and strategy consulting engagement for fee-paying clients. Each team comprised 4 to 6 Wharton MBA students and 4 to 6 students from other leading international business schools. Together, they consult for senior managers who want to enter or improve their company's position in the North-American market and, on occasion, other international markets. The teams research, analyze, and develop detailed strategic and tactical plans to meet their clients' goals. Students travel to work with the key managers and partner teammates, sharing insights at major project milestones throughout the life of the project. |
